LPGA Tour players put down their clubs for a few hours to hit the salon when Nicole Hage’s sponsor, Keratin Complex, hosted a Keratin Spa Day for six lucky players to have their hair straightened with the Keratin Complex Smoothing Therapy Treatment at Martino Cartier’s Salon in Sewell, NJ.

Ginger, who is the resident keratin hair therapy expert at Ragtops Dayspa in Tempe, shared some recent BEFORE and AFTER photos of a client.

For Ginger, the key to a great experience with a keratin hair smoothing session is her Consultation with the client. At that time, she’ll assess the client’s hair and talk to the client about her needs. The consultation is key because each client has a unique hair style and structure — and the hair therapy sessions need to be adjusted accordingly.

When Ginger took her certification course in keratin complex therapy, she was thoroughly trained in assessing a clients’ needs — the therapy needs to be customized for each client to work properly. As such, the expense of a keratin blowout can vary according to the length of the sessions.

Ginger will go over the estimated cost and time it will take, and explain the after-care that a client needs to follow after a blowout session.
